The Superfish 4 (SF4) combines the popular Superfish 3 shape with some vintage design features, making it our best Superfish yet! This high volume modern fish shape is ideal for surfers looking for stability and turning response.

The wider nose and fuller outline up front, along with parallel rails, create a large stable platform for generating speed. By eliminating the flyer, we've made the curve in the back half of the board smoother. The tapered tail outline allows for tighter radius turns when you position your back foot on the tail. The swallow tail adds bite, particularly in smoother conditions.

Global has brought back the original step deck design feature! This increases volume through the spine and out towards the rails, resulting in a flatter deck and a lower, more sensitive feeling rail. The single-to-double concave delivers a consistent and predictable feel, without limiting speed or the ability to transition quickly from rail-to-rail between turns.

The well-balanced 3-stage rocker has just enough flip in the entry to prevent nose-diving in steeper waves, while the flatter mid section maintains forward drive and flow. The moderate curve out the tail allows for nice turns when pushing off your back foot.

They've added more volume to the SF4, particularly under the chest and extending towards the nose and tail. This provides excellent paddle power for getting into waves early.
